Dr. Alyse Marie Dibenedetto, PsyD

Alyse was my first therapist and she really set the bar high. Unfortunately, we had to terminate due to my relocation but she is absolutely fantastic. She has the ability to make you feel at ease while digging deep and challenging you. I was very sad to terminate with her and often speak to my new therapist about my experiences with Alyse.

I have been with Alyse for about 5 years now after trying several therapists. I have cried, laughed, and transformed myself with her. She is extremely passionate about her work and very sincere in her efforts. Our conversations have stimulated growth beyond imagination for me. She's helped me get through PTSD, troubled relationships, and helped my overall anxiety. I truly believe I will stick with her for as long as she continues to work. I appreciate seeing her weekly very much. I recommend her to anyone.

I love my sessions with Alyse! She has helped me tremendously with my anxiety. She is very realistic, respectful, and funny. I very much enjoy how we can laugh during sessions and how comfortable she makes me feel. I saw her for 6 months while I was pregnant dealing with prenatal anxiety and again now. I would highly recommend her for anything you're struggling with, from prenatal/postpartum anxiety/depression, general anxiety, marital issues, to infertility and major life decisions. Alyse provides you with practical tools and advice that you can use between sessions to make everything feel more manageable.

I feel fortunate to have found Dr. DiBenedetto who helped me overcome my anxiety and depression through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. With her knowledge, encouragement and insight, I realized that seeking therapy was a sign of strength, not weakness. I felt motivated to do the work and with her help, I found my way back to myself. I am so grateful that I found Alyse. She has worked with me to develop connections between current issues and issues I have had in the past that I have not recognized. Working with her has made me understand myself way more and given me the ability to think about my actions in a more mindful way. Even when I go into a session unsure of what I will discuss, she is wonderful asking the right questions to find connections.

She is the best therapist I have worked with, and she is an empathetic, non-judgemental, understanding listener. I’ve been seeing Alyse for a couple of years now and I’ve seen many therapists and she is by far the best one I’ve ever had. She a great listener and makes me learn about myself every time I walk out of our sessions. I don’t feel judged, I feel understood and I feel like I am at home when I’m in the room with her. I talk to her like she’s my friend and it’s comfortable to know I’m in a safe space when I’m around her. She has helped me so much in the years I’ve been going to her, I would recommend her to anybody seeking out help with anything going on in there life or within themselves.

Alyse is wonderful. She is warm and truly seems to care about her patients. She is insightful and smart, but also down to earth and very easy to talk to. She has helped me immensely. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist. I will continue going back for more sessions.
