Dr. Alyssa Anne Schaffer, MD

Dr. Carnegie repaired my broken wrist (requiring plate and screws) while I was on vacation in Kaua'i. I am now 6 months post-surgery and have had a full recovery of the use of my hand and wrist. My local surgeon did the follow up care after I returned home, and described Dr. Carnegie's work as "Perfect". I did follow Dr. Carnegie's orders and I did do physical therapy (including my home exercise); that plus Dr. Carnegie's excellent surgical skills resulted in my reclaiming use of my hand. My scar is also very neat and as small as possible. Very thankful that Dr. Carnegie worked on me.

I was recently referred to Dr. Schaffer for hand surgery by my family doctor. An appointment was set up within a week and Dr. Schaffer's diagnosis confirmed the need for surgery. She explained the procedure to me and expedited preoperative requirements enabling surgery to be scheduled in a reasonably short time. Surgery was successful with no loss of function or restriction of movement. Dr. Schaffer was professional and congenial throughout the process. I highly recommend her.
