Dr. Amaka Josephine Undie, MD

We had a newborn at hospital. She saw my baby for 5 minutes, left called the room to tell us she had to go to nicu because she was withdrawing. My wife was only taking prescribed medicine and she treated her like a drug addict. She told my wife after meeting us for 2 minutes that we need to wake up and see our daughter is withdrawing. Nurses at the nicu laughed at us after we told them my daughter was there for withdrawal. They did their job and scored her accordingly but told us she was not withdrawing. We got to go home without our baby because of her malpractice!!! Added stress and worry that was absolutely not needed. I guess the nicu needed a bed to fill, makes you wonder if she gets a kickback from the amount of patients (babies) she rips from parents grasps to send to nicu. Talked to another father of a baby in there and said she did something of the similar nature to them.

She is a wonderful doctor. She does not overbook her schedule and leave you sitting in the waiting room for hours. The longest I have ever waited is 15 minutes. Dr. Undie also remembers the names of her patients regardless of when the last time she saw them was. She never needs to review the file first to figure out who they are and she even keeps up with their interests and what they are involved in with school and extra curricular activities. She is very pleasant to speak to and answers all of your concerns making you feel at ease. I completely recommend her.

1st timers receives a good welcome and treatment. Eventually realises it's all about money for each and every visit. Forces you to revisit for money. So disrespectful and zero courteous staff including doctor. Provides treatment without looking back into history.

Avoid this doctor. She is money oriented. DO not know much!

Dr. Undie is warm, caring, and wonderful--with parents as well as with her young patients. She took care of our son from age 3 to 18 and we will miss her dearly. Medically, she is a very thourough doctor but it is her warm and genuine manner that the children respond to. If you have the opportunity to have Dr. Undie as your pediatrician,you and your child are very fortunate!
