I had a double knee replacement with Dr. Das about 4 weeks ago. My knees were in bad shape. My case was very complex. I was born severely bow legged and ended up bone on bone with arthritis and 2 fractured tibias (which he found through MRI). By the time of surgery, I was unable to stand up straight and walking severely deformed. I know I was a challenge for Dr. Das. What impressed me the most was how thorough he was with every detail of my knees. He definitely did his homework. Dr. Das really wanted to help me and I’m forever grateful to God for him! Not only did he repair my knees, he also straightened my bowed legs! I now walk better than I did in the past! Dr. Das also has such respect from the staff at Pardee Hospital. Everyone likes him and cannot say enough good things about him. Thank you Dr. Das! In my opinion you are the #1 Othopedic surgeon in this great state. May God bless you for all you have done to help me.

Dr. Das replaced both knees early 2019. My recovery has gone very well; nurses and physical therapists have consistently told me how well I'm doing and how good the incision looks. He glued, no staples. I have to say the worst part of this experience for me has been nausea, vomiting, weakness and dizziness from the anesthesia, meds, etc. I'm in awe of Dr. Das. I could not have asked for a better surgeon. Aside from his talent as a surgeon, his bedside manner is excellent. He explains everything and even draws a picture after surgery of my knees pre-op as compared to a normal knee. Oh yes, and he brings all his patients a rose after surgery. I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Das. I heard he is the best and it's true. He has a picnic for all his patients every year. What Dr. does this? It's apparent he loves what he does and cares about his patients. Thank you, Dr. Das.

Dr Das is not only a highly skilled surgeon but a kind and cautious diagnostician - never over zealous when the situation warrants time.

After both a hip replacement and a knee replacement, I feel qualified to say that Dr. Das is a kind and competent physician who takes the time to explain the procedures. He even draws a picture of the condition of the joint to illustrate his explanation.

I had a full knee replacement (left knee) which was very successful. I only wish I could have had it done 10 years ago. In less than 6 months from surgery, I am now walking 8-12,000 steps each day (4 to 5+ miles).
