Dr. Amanda Whittenburg Brack, MD

Dr. Brack goes above and beyond for the children she cares for. She is warm and loving to my baby girl every visit, whether it is a sick visit or a check up. She is extremely thorough, detailed, and analyzes all the data to make the most informed decision about my child’s health. We recently moved out of state, and I am saddened that we will not be continuing our pediatric journey with her since our move. She was instrumental in making me feel that I was doing a great job as a new mama.

She used to be my kid’s doctor until one sick visit, she told me to go home with my 8 month baby with a fever of 105.4 because I was 15 mins late due to an accident on I-10. I asked the receptionist to talk to her one more time, but she refused care. I told the receptionist that I was leaving, but if something’d happen to my child, Dr. Brack would be responsible. With my baby burning with a fever in my arms, Dr. Brack called me inside the hallway to humiliate and belittle me in front of her staff. Needless to say I never went back. Don’t recommend her. If you really care about you kids, take them to a doctor that really cares about your children.

Dr. Brack is amazing!! Both my children have been going there from birth (7&4). I moved about 45 mins away and still make the trip. She's genuinely cares about my children and her career and it shows. Very knowledgeable about everything!! I love the most that she is a "wait and see" kind of doctor. She is NOT quick to give your child medication for every little thing. No question will ever get you a cross look from her. She is very willing to explain anything.

Dr. Brack is great with my kids. She always makes sure my 3 kids are comfortable with her before she just goes and puts things in their ears and mouth. She explains to them as well as me, mom, exactly what she is doing and what are normal for their age. Excellent bedside manner. Highly recommended!
