Dr. Amanda Beth Hatton, MD

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Hatton, finding her care to be inadequate and her staff insensitive to topics, including miscarriage. Due to concerns about the quality of care, I transferred to another office at 30 weeks pregnant as a high-risk patient. The staff's insensitivity was evident when they dismissed my emotional response to a previous loss, making a comment that suggested I was overreacting, “because people lose babies everyday and they had forgotten I was one of them.” Given my history and concerns, I was worried about the well-being of my baby. To find out, I was right, my baby had to come early, i truly feel I wouldn’t be sitting here today with my newborn if I had stayed with Hatton’s office. I’m thankful my new OB listened. Despite repeatedly expressing my concerns, my concerns were not adequately addressed in Hatton’s office and when questioned about it, she tried to gaslight me, by saying I never brought any of said topics up even once, thankfully I had… recorded my visits for my husband, because he would always ask what was said, today, while he was at work.. and I had my providence app, so I could see all visitation notes. These things were brought up, because I was always told, that’s just normal pregnancy issues and pushed to the side, no further explanations/ care given. Hatton told me no other doctor would deal with my high demands.. I had never asked her for anything, I told this to my current physician and she was baffled that a physician would say such a thing to a patient. My primary care doctor took better care of me and more often than Hatton’s office did during my pregnancy up until I left. I ultimately decided to seek care elsewhere due to the dismissive and rude manner of the staff. In contrast, my new OB provided caring, understanding, and informative care, addressing all my questions and concerns. Given Dr. Hatton's low Google review rating, I would caution others to consider alternative options to this clinic.

Takes year off without notifying patients AT ALL. NOT PROFESSIONAL!

I WOULD NEVER USE ANOTHER DR. - SHE MADE MY LIFE SO EASIER WITH MY DAUGHTER AND I COULDN"T LIVE WITHOUT DR. HATTON

I called the office and never got a return phone call; I had to call back the next day and when the nurse got on the phone she rambled about what I said to the receptionist...NEVER looked at my chart and had all the wrong information! VERY unprofessional. I will make sure to let Dr. Hatton know if I go back! Other than that, Dr. Hatton was very polite and really liked her!
