Dr. Amanda Joanna Kay, MD

Our family followed Dr. Kay from Newark Peds to Wilm Peds. She is an intelligent, compassionate, and patient pediatrician. Her philosophy encompasses a deep care for her patients with a focus on accessibility to care. I truly believe in Dr. Kay's commitment and ability to help her patients. I couldn't sing her praises any more than I already do. Our family feels very fortunate to have her as apart of our care team.

Dr. Kay is wonderful and very thorough in her care. With our special circumstances she respected our choice to use a soy-free european formula, even checking that all the nutrition macros were appropriate and how to supplement with solids when the time came. She was also the only doctor who respected our wishes for having an alternate vaccination schedule -- every other pediatrician I'd spoken to before didn't know how to handle that. At the end of the day, she understands that it is YOUR child and that you have the right to parent how you want to. Scheduling is very easy, and her on-call afterhours phone service was also very prompt.

Dr. Kay is the best doctor I have ever seen. She is calming, understanding, and supportive. As a first time parent she eased any concerns that I had. During checkup visits with her she spent as much time needed to thoroughly discuss all questions I had- I never felt rushed. She truly cares about her patients and I feel lucky to have her as my daughters pediatrician. I cannot highly recommend her enough!
