Dr. Amanda Kephart

Amanda Kephartis a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia who has more than 3 years of experience working with adolescents and adults who are seeking help with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, mood disorders, stress management, and substance use. She has provided care for individuals, groups, in school settings, and for adults in an outpatient substance use program. Amanda received her Bachelor's degree from Missouri Western State University in her hometown of Saint Joseph, Missouri, and earned her Master's degree in Counselor Education from Radford University in Radford, Virginia.Amanda utilizes a person-centered, strengths-based, and solutions-focused approach. She understands that everyone’s experiences are individualized and strives to work with her clients in building an environment that works best for them. Amanda has a large background in the arts and often will use practices that are unique and interactive.
