Dr. Amanda Lee Livingston, MD

Dr. Amanda Livingston has been my PCP for 6 or 7 years now. She always listens well, and is very careful to address all your concerns. She also ask for your input when determining treatment to ensure you are comfortable with treatment plans. She ALWAYS follows up promptly in returning phone calls, filling prescriptions, referrals, or following up on results from labs. I called her one evening as she was the Dr. on-call. I was fine the next day so I didn't make a follow up appointment, but she had her staff follow up with me the next day to see how I was anyway. The only thing is that you can tell she is still gaining experience and general knowledge of alternative forms of healthcare (although not her field), or even at times Allopathic healthcare (which is her field). This may be due to her young age. But she is always willing to do research, or learn to make sure she is giving accurate information.

Doctor Livingston is great. Her office is not. They can't get a referral to an outside provider to save their lives. It took them weeks and I showed up every week and was denied care because they couldn't send out a referral on time. Terrible service.

I've met with Dr. Livingston once and followed up a few times via online messages. In both formats she has been a good listener. She has done a great job of explaining things and answering my questions, as well as taking my interests and concerns into account. I identify as gender non-binary, and she also was good about my pronouns and using gender-neutral language. However, I had some challenges with the staff, who were difficult to engage with and unwilling to explain to me the forms they gave me to transfer my medical records from a prior doctor to their office. It would have been useful if they had listened to my questions, since I found out weeks later that the request was rejected because they gave me the wrong forms.

Good listener, asked many questions. V good bedside manner. Gave me a lot of time and attention. Diagnosis consistent with prior doctors evaluations.
