Dr. Duggirala is one of the most talented and knowledgeable doctors I have experienced. My wife and I have been seeing him since he took over Poolesville Family Practice more than ten years ago. We used to live in Germantown but moved to Alexandria. We drive more than an hour to see him as the quality care we receive is more than worth the commute. The office is very professional and I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes. His office also offers same day sick appointments, they are easy to reach (humans on the line) and offer a convenient and secure patient portal you can use to communicate with the doctor. Dr. Duggirala is very patient and takes the time to listen to you. You never feel rushed and you feel like you are his only patient when he is with you. He also types up instructions of what was discussed during the visit and lists medications he has prescribed with details about when and how much you should take. This really helps if you’re someone like me that forgets what… the doctor told you an hour after you leave the office. If you are looking for a quality primary care physician for your family with whom it is easy to book an appointment, who is responsive, caring, and listens to you, there is no need to look any further.

We have been going to Dr. Duggirala since he started in Poolesville. He always listens and shows that he cares. He checks on us later and even though we have moved, we certainly go back for physicals and any other concerns.

I came to Dr D with severe pain in the rotator cuff. He quickly diagnosed the problem and within four hours I started to feel better. The next day? Nearly total relief from pain.

Dr. Duggirala is a knowledgeable, skilled and caring physician. He demonstrates expertise in medicine and uses his experience to diagnose and treat me as a patient. He spends time to listen, learn, and provide medical care with encouragement.
