Dr. Amar Antony Godwin Pinto, MD

Dr. Pinto is an excellent physician, able to perform near miracles. However...his nurse is unbelievably incompetent. His phone receptionists are rude as well. The real problem is Nina, his nurse. She will drop the ball every single time. Prior Authorization is needed on many of Dr. Pinto's medications, but if it is denied you can forget about Nina following through with the requested documentation to the insurance company. She just drops it. Then the doctor will assume non-compliance by the patient. Unfortunately, this will not change until there is a new nurse. She has been here for years and has maintained the same incompetence since Touloukian was in there. Monumentally frustrating when the doctor is so effective.

listens to me. Anything he thinks with my chronic pancreatitis that he can't handle he sends me up to IU in Indy. Which usally mean an ERCP which I always have a attack right after. So my doctors the ones that treat me right you learn to love the ones that help you and hate the one that don't and he is one I love

I saw Dr. Pinto for an upper endoscopy. He took a lot of time with me in my office visit and I didn't feel rushed. He was patient in talking to me about what to expect and even called me at home to check on me the night of my procedure. I highly recommend hm and his office staff. Everyone I spoke with seemed happy to help and took their time with me. I felt like a valued person...not just a patient.

I saw Dr. Pinto for low blood count problem. He immidietylscheduled colonoscopy for further evaluation. His staff are professional and excellent. I did not feel any discomfortduring or after the procedure.I had a large polyp which heremoved and gave me excellent post operative care. He evencalled me at home that night. He personally called me withresults. I would highly recommend him for my friends and family.
