Dr. Amar Kumar Singh, MD

I went to this office to see Dr. Singh but saw a PA. I have severe chronic insomnia due to Anxiety. I really just needed some sleep. I was told to take supplements! I have taken in the past and they have not worked. I tried to get this point over to the office. I was told Dr Singh would NOT have sleep medication to me although I had been prescribed for many years. That Doctor recently retired. I am still, 4 months later, still not sleeping. I can be up for days and only sleep 3 or 4 hours after that due to extreme exhaustion. It’s just my opinion but most of these doctors in Rome could care less about patients and more about their income. This is the impression I get from this practice. I was a Nurse for over 25 years. I’m pretty in tune with egos having worked with so many physicians over the years. God help me I fear a stroke or a heart attack

Dr. Singh was my doctor, who i regrettably left, to go to a closer doctor to home. I have tried to return, but have not been able to due to a rule, I suppose, that once you left you cannot return. My doctor I was going to moved her office to Marietta, which is much farther away. I tried to return to Dr. Singh because I need palliative and hospice care, which I understand is one of his specialties. I believe I'm at an a stage in my life between palliative and hospice and would like a Doctor I trust and know. However , I still give him a 5 star because of my care I had a few years back. He helped control my blood pressure that was out of control, and many other sickness at the time. He was professional, he would listen and seem to care about my welfare. God bless you, Dr Singh

He took care of my momma for years. I became a patient of his and he’s a great physician and he tells you exactly how it is. He cares about his patients just like they’re his family.

I went to my specialist at Harbin. I asked for a family Doctor recommendation. My Doctor recommended Dr. Singh. My specialist insisted on Dr. Singh even said that’s his own family’s Doctor as well. I called to schedule an appointment with Doctor singh and was told he doesn’t want to see me. I said he doesn’t even know me. The office said the Doctor saw some canceled appointments on my Harbin chart. I explained that has nothing to do with Doctor Singh and furthermore, I never canceled those appointments, my Gynecologist did. He had emergencies and his office called me to canceled and rescheduled them. I told his office to call my harbin Gynecologist and ask him. They said they aren’t interested in calling anyone. When Dr. Singh see’s cancellations on your harbin chart he doesn’t care even if it was my specialist’s office who did it. According to Dr Singhs office it’s my fault and Dr Singh wont see me. Dr. Singh sounds unkind,very unprofessional and pompous to do that to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Singh for several years,as has several of my family .He cares about each of his patients very much ,he will find your problem or send you to a specialist that can.If you have to wait a minute more don't worry he will give you the same time never rushes you, listens to every thing you have to say.I tell every one I know that needs a Dr. to go to him.

He is one of the smartest, kindest, most caring physicians I have seen. I have only 2 doctors I trust completely and he is one. He takes time with you. He will work you in. Call and check on you. Even help during the late night. He diagnosed me with a condition my other physician failed to notice and help save my liver. He is just great. If you need an excellent Internist, this is whom you seek!

Dr. Singh is amazing. Very caring. Very professional. He listens. Highly recommend him to anyone who needs a top notch doctor. He is one of the best!

A wonderful, caring, professional, excellent diagnostician. He has the best bedside manner. He really cares. And, he LISTENS! All the time you need. He will call and check on you even at night if you need him, he is there for you. He monitors your health like a hawk. He diagnosed me on the first visit what 3 others had missed over 2 yrs!. He is just fabulous. I recommend this doctor to anyone and everyone. He is the best!!

Dr. Singh is an excellent diagnostician. He is incredibly knowledgable. He is professional, kind, and caring. He always puts his patients and their needs first. He caught a potentially fatal condition for me after my other doctor had missed it. He monitors you to make sure your treatments are working properly. He always has time to see you if needed. He is just an incredible physician. I am honored to have him for my physician. I truly feel my health is in the best hands it possibly could be anywhere in this country.

Dr. Singh is an excellent Internal Medicine physician. He is one of the most knowledgable physicians I have seen. He is a very caring doctor and always does what's best for his patient. Would recommend him to anyone who needs a really good doctor!
