Dr. Amaresh Misra, MD

This doctor's bedside manner is impeccable! I was totally at ease speaking with him and it was my first time. The wait time to see him is long, but well worth it. The reason for such long wait times is that he takes great care with each patient and really gives good feedback on how to live a happy healthy life.

We first came to Dr. Misra as he was on our insurances approved dr list. Every time we have had someone sick they have been very accommodating and the staff has always been wonderful with scheduling our appointments and providing referrals when needed!!

Dr. Misra is my teen daughters physician. He was the Dr on her insurance card so when she got sick I took her thinking I could/would change Dr's if needed. Well, he is AMAZING!! He is very thorough and he REALLY cares.He has never rushed us, he takes time to talk and explain what is wrong and how and why it happens. He is really amazing. He is a rare breed of Dr. He is someone who went into medicine to HELP rather than to make money.His office is not fancy but who cares about that. He is a great doctor and that's what is important. I highly recommend him!! My daughter stayed sick in the fall/winter months and he suggested her tonsils come out and so we did it and she has been well since.He said her tonsils were bad and none of her other doctors had ever said that. When we went to the ENT at Vandy he could not believe they had not been removed already. SO Thanks to Dr Misra for pointing it out immediately rather than putting her on antibiotics and going to the Dr all the time. I giess… the other DR's figured they would make a ton of money on her with all the office visits. So, if you are looking for a GREAT Dr look no further, Dr Misra is your man! I even started going to him myself and I have had the same Dr for 20 yrs. I have breathing problems and Dr Misra changed my meds and I have not had an issue since.
