Amber Lynn Kline, CNM

Amber Kline, MSN, RN, is a certified nurse midwife at Geisinger Bloomsburg. She cares for women at every stage of their reproductive health journey — from prenatal visits, vaginal deliveries and postpartum support to annual well-woman exams and birth control counseling. Ms. Kline also performs contraceptive procedures, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion and removal, and assists with cesarean sections.Ms. Kline earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in nurse-midwifery from East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C.Ms. Kline has cared for pregnant patients and newborns most of her career, which spans several states. She spent 2 years leading an international medical team in Papua New Guinea, delivering maternal and child health services to remote, underserved villages. This experience inspired her to expand her skills and become a nurse-midwife. Ms. Kline has been honored with the Daisy Award recognition twice — as a Daisy Nurse Award recipient …from ECU Health Medical Center and as a Daisy Student Nurse-Midwife recipient from East Carolina University College of Nursing.A native of upstate New York, she settled in the area to be closer to family and brings a genuine appreciation for rural communities. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors.“I enjoy supporting women and educating them during pregnancy and labor and birth,” Ms. Kline says. “I love the teamwork required for labor and delivery care.”
