Katherine Ann Raker, CNM

Katherine Ann Raker, CNM, is a certified nurse midwife. She treats adolescent and adult patients. Her clinical interests include obstetric inpatient management, contraceptive counseling and maintaining continuity with obstetrics and gynecology patients.Ms. Raker strives to provide a patient-centered, individualized approach to midwifery care that centers on shared decision-making.Ms. Raker became a certified nurse midwife after attending the University of Cincinnati College of Nursing. She completed her Doctorate in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation research focuses on nurse educators' knowledge, attitudes, instructional beliefs and instructional practices related to the topic of human trafficking.In her free time, Ms. Raker enjoys traveling to warm climates, listening to music and spending time with her husband and dog, a Maltese named Milo.
