The visit with the doctor itself was fine. The clinic staff was friendly. However, when I got my test results from a simple preventative screening, I then learned that additional tests were performed that I was not informed about. Not only that, but I received a bill for them since my insurance didn't cover them fully. Had I been informed ahead of time, I would not have authorized these tests. I then filed a complaint with the hospital about the bill, only to be informed that the doctor claims she "discussed everything with the patient." Again, if she had ACTUALLY discussed it with me, I would not have authorized the additional tests. They were performed completely without my knowledge. So now I'm stuck paying the bill regardless, since it's my word against hers.... the lack of transparency just baffled me, and this was only for a simple screening. We had not even gotten to the actual point of what I came in for (which was not her fault). I will not return, because not only did… this happen in the first place, but then I was treated like I was making up wild accusations on top of it. Healthcare should be transparent, and I, as the patient, should be informed about my care, including tests and other procedures.

She is my doctor and she is awesome at what she does.

I had a lot of complications with my pregnancy but Dr. Weingartner did a great job managing them!

Fast recovery after my hysterectomy

Dr. Weingartner did a great job managing my complicated pregnancy. My husband and I are very thankful for her care and the perfect delivery of our son.

I have been seeing Dr. Weingartner for my prenatal visits. She is very caring, and always wants to make sure all my questions are answered. When I had failed the 1 hour glucose test, she scheduled me to have the 3 hour test to make sure I didn't have gestational diabetes. Also, when the doppler sounded like our baby's heart rate had dropped, she had a stress test done to monitor the baby's heart rate for an extended amount of time. We are glad to have Dr. Weingartner taking care of us.

We should have listened to the warnings indeed... After I and others had dealings with Dr. Weingartner for some time, unfortunately, we can't recommend her whatsoever. And we have never giving one star to anyone or anything before now.

She would not refill a prescription for my HPV because she claimed I needed to come in an additional time for her to examen me. [I was a new patient, but it made zero sense because I had been diagnosed with HPV a few years ago. I had also notified her of my condition.] Meanwhile, I had just been through foot surgery & was recovering. I requested a refill several times, but she refused. I didn't feel comfortable ever going back. I ended up waiting out my very painful HPV breakout. I eventually found a new doctor. My first & ONLY appointment with her she filled my prescription without even having to "examen" me. She believed me. I told her what happened with my previous gyno, & she said it was very odd. I don't encourage black women to see her.
