Dr. Amber Dawn Whitear, MD

I went to go see this doctor after reading all of her positive reviews. However, I'm starting to think those reviews are meant for a different doctor. If you want a doctor that lacks in good bedside manners, is extremely aggressive, and rude to you. Doesn't listen to your questions or concerns, and treats you like you're a waste of her time, she's the right doctor for you. I was hospitalized a week after a hysterectomy with her because this doctor wouldn't listen to me when I was sick and had awful symptoms! Turns out I have a post operative infection, an abscess where my uterus was located, and I'm producing hematoma'. This is not okay!

I thought this doctor would be amazing due to some of her reviews, but I was wrong. Her bedside manners are awful, she's very aggressive when doing examinations, and even when you tell her that she's hurting you she will insert, "I know, I'm just trying to do my job." She will dismiss your questions and act like you're just a waste of her time. I was put in the hospital because of her due to how careless she was when things started going down hill after she did my hysterectomy. I've written reviews about this situation on google reviews only to now see that they have been deleted. Please do not go through what I went through! I'm unsure of how she is getting positive reviews at this point.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Bradshaw-Whitear today. She is very personable, knowledgeable, and made sure she answered all of my questions. She didn't seem like she was in a rush at all. The office staff was helpful and warm. I was very impressed with the entire experience.

I had a very unfortunate experience with this doctor and her staff, to the point where I spoke with the practice manager and I transferred to another gyno the day after my IUD insertion. I called several times and left many messages with not a single call back, finally had to walk into the office just to schedule an appointment. Bedside manners and after-care instructions were absolutely horrible. She brought a practicing nurse, as well as a practicing NP into the room without asking me first, and when I told her I did not want them in there, she argued with me about it before they left the room. I felt so uncomfortable and anxious to the point where I bawled my eyes out on the way to my car. I called with questions and her response was "the ER is always open." She is a very skilled doctor, but unless you need a surgery and/or you don't care about bedside manners and respect, I would look for a different doctor. Such an unfortunate and scarring experience.

The doctor is wonderful and very skilled. Waiting on the line 10 mins just to get an appt is a problem.

Dr. Bradshaw was incredibly personable and professional and helped to guide me to the best sources for my situation. Her office staff was incredible as well: very warm, professional and courteous - which is a rare find these days.

I was very impressed with Dr. Bradshaw. After having some negative experiences with other doctors, she made me feel at ease that we will find a solution to my medical issues. I would highly recommend her.

Dr Bradshaw was so kind and explained everything to me so that I understood. I am so greatful I found this office her staff Jancie and Misty are both so amazing. They are a great team

Her and her staff are very sweet, and professional. I think she is amazing!
