Dr. Amee N. Chandrabalan

Dr. Chandrabalan’s appointment was a complete letdown. I sought help for serious symptoms but she dismissed them with a brief exam, ordering no diagnostic tests or tools, providing no direction or next steps, and offering no avenues for symptom relief. Her cold, dismissive attitude made my health symptoms feel entirely unimportant, leaving me without answers or a path forward. Patients deserve a neurologist who listens and investigates—choose another doctor for proper care.

Dr. Amee N. Chandrabalan Is exceptional. In my 58 years I have met with many doctors, and this time it was for my 81 year old father, and our visit was outstanding in so many ways. Some examples: Dr Amee thoroughly understood my dad’s medical history and presented a very good plan. Also, she was wonderful communicating with my dad who is nearly deaf. Lastly, she did the best job explaining my dad’s medical condition, and she did a wonderful job answering our many questions. I am so thankful for Dr Amee and the medical care she offers.

I was referred to see a neurologist by my spine doctor, as my symptoms were not totally consistent with diagnosis. My primary md refers to Noran Clinic. I waited over a month for an appointment. Dr. Chandrabalan did nothing but check reflexes(but not the one I specifically showed her that was not normal). She said she really didn't know why i was there. I explained my symptoms, which included numbness in my legs. She then made it clear that she was only going to deal with upper extremities. It was a waste of time, and gave my spine doctor no input to my symptoms. She then ordered and emg of both arms, and a followup visit with her assistant. Find a different neurologist!

Dr. Chandrabalan is consistently inconsistent. Takes forever to refill prescriptions, books out weeks/months in advance, and the wait time in the office is just outrageous. Makes it seem like your pain is your fault and meh, maybe it’ll get better, maybe it won’t. But either way, it’s presented to you as a you problem.

Presumptuous and often self-contradictory, sometimes moralizing in a dehumanizing manner. Also insanely disorganized and will blame you for it.

Was referred to this clinic and was set up with a visit with Dr. Chandrabalan. Seemed nice during visit but soon learned of her lack of follow through. She recommended an MRI for which she did not put an order in until multiple calls from me. This happened a second time with a follow up MRI. Did not put the MRI order in until multiple calls from me. She lacks communication when it comes the results. She also does not follow up on messages sent through Mychart. I would not recommend this physician to anyone.

My appointment lasted less than 15 minutes. Didn’t really take the time to explain any of the scans or give any follow up recommendations

Doctor choose not to answer my questions concerning a recent nerve injury. Just a quick exam and out the door. No while I am waiting for the nerve to heal I could try this or that to help with getting the nerve to settle down. I received more info from the emergency room! Will not return.

I was really nervous about my appointment, but Dr. C.was very reassuring and kind. It was clear she is confident and knowledgable. She listened to what I had to say and took the time to ask if I had questions.
