Dr. Amer Al-Karadsheh, MD

I've always had a pleasant experience.

Dr. Al diagnosed me with hypothyroidism and put me on Synthroid. I had heard about Armour Thyroid from a number of people in a support group I'm in and wanted to try it as the Synthroid seemed not to get the job done in terms of alleviating some of my symptoms. Dr. Al would not prescribe it to me. He'd only change the dosage of Synthroid. At another visit to his office, we discussed some symptoms I was having and I suggested that maybe I should be tested for diabetes. He told me he didn't think I needed that testing because he "felt" I didn't have diabetes. A few months later during my well woman's exam at my gyno's office, my gyno tested me for everything under the sun, including diabetes. From this testing I learned that I am pre-diabetic. Thank God I didn't listen to Dr. Al and went ahead and allowed my gyno to test me. She always listens to my concerns and takes them seriously. I didn't feel that way with Dr. Al. I always felt rushed with him. As if I were simply another person he… was trying to get out of his office. I won't be back.

last visit I wated 2 hours past my appt time and wont refill prescriptions timely.

PLEASE READ !!! .......I am not used to write reviews online but I felt it's my role to do it especially after my experience with Dr. Al Karadsheh ..... Unfortunately I went there upon all the good reviews written about him and I was thinking that reviews really helps to choose the best dr. But it's not!!! ..... My first visit I was impressed by the dr. Suggestion to attach monitor to my body to see how my body works with the insulin & food I take & the exercise I do .... I liked the idea so much but when the girl came to attach the monitor to my body she seemed nervous & couldn't make right from the first time & it was painful besides that girl was teaching another one LOL that's really redicolus ..... Anyway she couldn't make it & at the end she called another one from outside who did it easily but it was painful too ..... The monitor supposed to blink after attaching it actually me & my husband didn't recognize it and we kept telling her plz check if it's working as I suppose to… stay with it three days & come back to you ..... But the girl said no don't worry it supposed to be working ..... We left & I stayed the three days trying to adapt to the new device attached to my body for the sake to know how my body reacts..... When I went there the third day they took it off & after a while the dr came in smiling & telling me there is a bad news ..... Guess what!!! ..... it wasn't working !!!!! I was like really ....... U must be kidding ..... And he with his smily face said yes it wasn't!! And he didn't even apologize or say we will try it again he just gave me some adjustments in my correction factor target ......i dono what happened to me how I didn't say a word there may be bec of shock !!!! But that's y I decided to write this review

I don't typically write reviews, but this Doctor deserves it. He is outstanding. Really spends the time to understand you, and cares. The staff is always friendly, and even the people in the lab are friendly and caring. Only downside is that the office is always extremely busy, but you have to expect that when a doctor is as good as Dr. Al-Karadsheh.

I have been a patient of Dr Al's for several years I believe him to be very competent and thorough in his diagnosis, treatment and prognosis for my continued care. The PA whom I have seen on several occasions is top notch as is his staff.

I have been nothing but impressed with Dr. Al. He is helping with my thyroid problem during my pregnancy. He orders the appropriate tests. And the NP and dr. are very throuough with the questioning and getting medical history, even getting my records from my previous dr were done in less than a week!The wait-time is sometimes long, but I don't mind so much because I have never felt rushed.

dr. Al-karadsheh has done a great job in helping me with my diAbetics...he seems to be a cAring doctor who knows how to talk to individuals..
