Dr. Amer George Rassam, MD

My treatment after a cancerous tumor was successfully removed and follow up care by Dr. Rasam was tops. I felt he was knowledgeable, patient, compassionate and trustworthy. His office staff very friendly and reaasuring. The office is immaculate! And never a long wait. I highly recommend him. I am over five yrs cancer free! To God be the Glory! !!!

I was very apprehensive about going to a hematologist but since no one else had been able to identify what was wrong, I had no choice. From my first visit with DR. Rassam I felt comfortable. When he told me he was going to put me on an annual visit, I know he could see the concern in my face and he changed the schedule to help lessen my anxiety. He also made me feel very comfortable when he told me I could stop by his office anytime I began experiencing symptoms associated with my medical issues and he would do an onsite blood test to see if there was anything going on. I have only met one other doctor who has the same caring attitude as Dr. Rassam and he is the doctor who referred me to Dr. Rassam.

Dr. Rassam has the best bedside manner, makes you very comfortable, straight forward and very professional.

Dr. Rassam is the best oncologist in Tallahassee! He is very professional and knowledgeable. He does not only treat my cancer but also treat me as a human being and fully respect my own decisions. He never pushes me to start on chemotherapy. He always gives me all the options and his own recommendations, but ultimately let me choose. He is very patient. Initially I couldn't decide if I should start on chemo or not, and kept coming to his office and change my mind. Every time he spent a long time with me and explain the pros and cons of chemotherapy in detail. I finally decided to start chemo. Now my cancer is stable and I really can enjoy my life again. I feel I am so lucky to find Dr. Rassam as my oncologist. I can't image how my life is going to be without him!

Great doctor !!

I was a little unnerved about going to a "cancer" doctor when being referred to a hematologist and I was put at ease with Dr. Rassam. Great doctor that has great reviews at multiple sites. The office was nice and clean, barely waited at all maybe 5 min in the waiting room and 3-4 minutes once I was in the patient room. I am supposed to have an infusion so he made sure he introduced me to the nurse and had her come talk to me. I was concerned about the infusion so he made sure it was on a day when he was at the office. Great bedside manner and I look forward to working with him on resolving my issue.

I reside in the middle GA and I had been to so many doctors that I couldn't really keep a count. I was dealing with so many different problems thatâ??s was going on. And the doctors up here couldn't pin point what was going with me. I had several x-rays done and the hospital here the radiologist didn't read them correct and they didn't consider follow `up. The first visit I had with Dr. Rassam he ordered several X-rays and thank God I didnâ??t need to make a second appointment. Because he had retained the results from my x-rays and he had pin point what was going on. And I also his nurse is my big sister (Catherine) so I was in good handsâ?¦â?¦.. Dr. Rassam billing department I must say was awesome and I never received bill after the filed my insurance. God Bless

This Dr was consulted on an emergent basis for my elderly father. I've never met a DR with such an outstanding knowledge base, coupled with an ability to treat THE PATIENT, not just the disease. Shortly after meeting my dad, reviewing labs, and assessing the patient, he formulated a clear plan & communicated the plan concisely. I am very impressed with his overall practice, and am considering discussing with him the opportunity to work for him. It would be an honor to work for such an outstanding physician.

After having a HORRIBLE experience at a different Tallahassee Hematology/Oncology office, Dr. Rassam was recommended to me by the Dr I saw at Moffitt Cancer Center. My experience has been very positive. He is a kind man who I feel listens and communicates well. His staff is excellent. I have recommended him to some friends who found themselves in need of a Hematologist.
