Dr. Amin Rateb Elashker, DO

This was supposed to be my physical.. He did not go over my test results Bloodwork Until I asked him about it. The only thing that was done at this physical was my weight and my height Did not go over results of a chest x-ray or mammogram that I had prior to this visit

Disgusted that I have to give this guy even one star. Read other reviews and he seems to have a pattern of arrogance and disdain. He is absolutely the worst!!!!!!

I was a patient of Elashker for 20+ years until today. I was treated poorly by his receptionist and talked down to so I made a FB post about the poor service SHE GAVE ME AFTER SHE MADE A MISTAKE HERSELF!!!!! . Today I received a phone call that Elashker no longer wants me as a patient taking the side of his rude receptionist. Never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly. Would never recommend this office to anyone ever again.

Rude, arrogant, threatening to drop you if you don't do things his way, doesn't listen, doesn't really care. NEVER had a physician that was so obviously a terrible human being.

Rude and arrogant, this guy should NOT be a physician or in ANY helping profession. Awful, awful.

I have been a patient of Dr. Elashker since 2001. He is always thorough and never makes me feel rushed. He even gave me a correct diagnosis of arthritis when an orthopedist said I didn’t have it- my MRI confirmed he knew more than the “specialist”. I feel like he genuinely cares about my well-being. I am shocked to see the negative reviews about him. People have complained that he makes them feel rushed and that is the furthest thing from the truth. I have had other doctors that made me feel like I had to hurry up so they could get to the next patient. That is never the case with him. In addition I am appalled to see that he was accused of inappropriate conduct. He has never behaved in any way inappropriately with me. One person even complained that he is too well dressed. What does that have to do with his level of patient care? That sounds more like a jealousy issue. I think most of the people that bother to leave a review are the ones that have a problem. The only reason I even… saw these is because I was looking for his provider number for my new insurance company. Seeing what other people wrote, I felt I had to set the record straight. He is the best doctor I’ve ever had. I will never switch to a different doctor.

If you don't mind having a narcissist for your medical care, this is the Dr for you. Dr E is always dressed for a ritzy executive meeting with expensive clothes and rings and watches. His communication is brusque and he isn't forthcoming with medical advice. I wanted to switch provider to the friendlier nurse practitioner that my wife saw. His response was that I continue to see him or choose a different clinic. Another time I stopped taking a cholesterol drug as it was half a pill of a minimal dose and the last lab showed no significant increase. His response was that he will stop doing labs to monitor my cholesterol since I stopped taking the drug. Another time I asked for a RX for the new shingles vaccine. I emphasized the new Shingrix and he gave me one for the old one. So this Dr E really doesn't listen and if you don't follow exactly what he says, he is vindictive. Stopping labs is an example.

Sorry that I can't give this guy NO stars. He is an arrogant, horrendous human being.,

NO doctor that I have EVER had has treated me with such DISDAIN. He should lose his license. He apparently settled with a patient years ago for "inappropriate touching." No surprise there.

Run, don't walk away from this guy. Terrible physician".
