I underwent an L5/S1 fusion diagnosed and performed by Dr Abtahi. I had a severely herniated disc that was pummeling my sciatic nerve. Dr Abtahi's bedside manner is second to none. He was genuinely attentive to all of my questions and concerns and took the time to answer them. He explained the procedure in extensive detail. His precision and talent are very noticeable by my incision and the short recovery time with absolutely no complications. I was using walking sticks within 2 weeks of my surgery and was walking unassisted within 4 weeks (minus my back brace). I can't express how grateful I am. He has made it possible for me to continue in my profession and life. I wish every doctor was as talented and caring as Dr Abtahi. I would not hesitate to refer him.
