Dr. Amir K Ahuja, MD

have been under the care of Dr. Ahuja for one year. I have been receiving psychiatric and mental health treatment for over 10 years, working with multiple providers during that time. He was assigned to me through the clinic I attend. Despite his stated credentials and claims about his approach to care, his actions do not reflect the qualities he promotes. His treatment has been inconsistent and unsafe, particularly regarding my prescriptions and care plans. There have been repeated errors in my medications and prescriptions, serious enough that I have had to seek emergency treatment at Cedars-Sinai Emergency Department. These errors have directly interfered with my treatment stability and placed my health at risk. In addition, treatment plans are discussed but not followed through, and messages sent through the patient portal go unanswered, including communications about urgent medication concerns. The lack of response has contributed to harmful disruptions in my care, including severe… sleep deprivation and the return of serious mental health symptoms. I do not feel supported, monitored, or safely treated under his care. His pattern of behavior demonstrates a disregard for my treatment needs and safety, leaving me feeling dismissed as a patient rather than actively cared for.

Be very careful with this individual, he lacks ethics & morals and will damage you more.

Dr. Ahuja is kind and caring clinician. His calm and thoughtful demeanor is matched by his knowledge of his subject matter . I truly felt heard and like he really took special care of me the entire time I was under his treatment .
