Dr. Priti Rajkumar Sahgal, MD

I have two children both with psychology and neurology conditions and I have found Dr. Priti Sahgal to be excellent to work with and oversee my daughter's care. Dr Sahgal is flexible with regard to making appointments when needed and is able to find solutions to hard to manage conditions.

Dr Sahgal prescribed Klonopin and Saphris Tablets for my alcoholic, addict daughter. Beware!

She is exceptional. Much more then what you would expect and worth the wait.

My friend says Dr. Sahgal is pretty good at her diagnosis and treatment; it's the first combination that worked in years. However, the office staff are the rudest, unapologetically unkind people ever. Appointments are usually cancelled on the day of the appointment, and even if they're not, Dr. Sahgal usually isn't there anyway. The wait times are always 1 hour+, and the staff just says to sit down, without offering an apology, because it's normal for them. I thought it was just a busy office but they confirmed their terrible attitude today: I heard them cheer saying "That's the last one, we made it through another day". And when my friend went to confirm her next appointment, the receptionist's smile disappeared and gave her attitude, ending with a "kthxbai". 2 star only because Sahgal is decent with the treatments. Don't come here if you want face to face contact, prompt response, on-schedule appointments, and friendly staff.

If you are looking for a doctor to call you back on an important matter like your daughter having suicidal thoughts after the doctor modified her medications, THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR. Never got a response back after leaving two messages (four days and 1 day ago). I guess it is not important to her that her patient is suicidal with the medication dosage she prescribed.

I have been to at least a dozen psychiatrists over the years and Dr Sahgal is the most exceptional dr I have ever seen. She works to understand your particular symptoms and seems to be able to find exactly the correct medication like no other dr has ever been able to do for me. Only downside is that she is exceptionally busy but I am willing to wait for her because she's the best.

No follow through and long wait time. My daughter has been going here for a few months. Her prescription was increased and she had side effects. I could not get a hold of anyone to help. There is no doctor on call and no alternative number to reach Dr Saghal. I finally got a hold of the office who was told by the doctor to tell me what to do. The doctor never called me to follow up. The staff is never friendly and the wait time is at least an hour. We are done here.

This is the worst doctor I've ever been too. Have been seeing this Dr. for about 6 months now because she is the only one who accepts my insurance. Expect to wait a long time, at least an hour from your appt. time. The staff is unapologetic for making you wait because it's standard for them. If you want a prescription written without question then she's fine if you have the time to wait for a couple hours, but if you actually need medical advice then would not recommend. Terrible. Always leave this office more irritated and unhappy than before!

I really like Dr. Sahgal. She is easy to talk to, compassionate, and actually listens to what I have to say. My only complaint about Dr. Sahgal is that generally, she is EXACTLY 45 minutes behind schedule. The office staff on the other hand is unfriendly, AND unhelpful. I am battling clinical depression. While at my therapist's office one day I was experiencing one of my episodes. My therapist called Dr. Sahgal's office in an attempt to get me an "emergency" appointment. Not only did the staff member NOT take a message she didn't even offer to connect my therapist with Dr. Sahgal! The entire office staff needs to be replaced with friendly, considerate, and helpful employees.

This office staff is the most cold and uncaring that I have ever come across.Dr.Sahgal is very unreliable constantly cancels appointments on the day of with virtually no notice to her patients.The office is very unaccomadating, would not send my worst enemy to her office.....
