I was in a fight for my life. My left leg needed to be removed to save my life from cancer that would not stop after 8 years of chemo, radiation, several massive surgery. When the time came I was having a tough time I spoke with Dr Blank and Dr Dorafshar they explained the procedure and what to expect short term and longer term. I new how highly Dr. Dorafshar was recommended, but it was in talking to him by phone I came to appreciate several facts 1. I had never been in a situation like this before but he had many times. 2. He had taken the time to learn all he needed about me and what I have been thru and had a plan to fix me. 3. That I was not just another guy in-line, that he was talking to me Joe. The surgery was nothing short of a miracle on Christmas eve. They found a way to put me back together and avoid a month of surgeries and fine tunings long hospital stay and longer rehab. Dr Blank and Dr Dorafshar are the best of the best and thats what you want when its your life on the… line. My follow-ups with Sidney Kogan PA-C in the office are great she is a pleasure to work with and true professional. I actually can't wait to see her again.
