Dr. Amir Shakur Malik, MD

I had a complicated situation but he has work with me to correct my issues and now I feel better than I ever thought was possible. I could never thank him enough. He’s knowledge and skill are top notch.

Did not get a proper diagnosed from the doctor or re-doo my CT scan to make sure the readings were the same or right. Will be going somewhere else.

Didn't receive the help I needed from the doctor. Once he knew I was not a candidate for surgery he just brush me off. The nurses don't pick up either.

I saw Dr. Malik for a possible shunt malfunction with likely (or so I thought) surgery. He addressed the issue nonsurgically in 1-2 days of bedrest with IV. His demeanor confident, decisive, and direct. All qualities I want in a surgeon. I am forever grateful.

Dr Malik did surgery on my back in 2012, replacing 3 discs with inserts, all three caged. I am doing well with my outcome, no more pain and rather good mobility

After surgery and several weeks in the hospital (suppose to be 3 days) once I was discharged I never heard from dr. Malik again. I am confined to wheelchair since leaving hospital. You'd think he would at least want to see me.

Thanks to the back surgery it is as if I have my life back. At 79, I keep five acres, mow. weed, rake, paint and whatever is needed. I never realized the pain I felt for 20 years was from back. I interpreted it as fatigue and kept moving. Now I am pain free and enjoying my life. Thank you Dr. Malik.

Dr. Malik is a wonderful surgeon. His does great surgery. But then he drops the ball. Leaves his patients in pain after surgery! Refuses to give pain meds after surgery. Will leave you in pain until you have to go to the emergency room. He does not to give pain meds after surgery. He says a person should tolerate pain. He also says he is a surgeon and not pain management. So please think twice before you let this man operate on you.He also lets his assistant speak down to you. They will never answer your calls or the pharmacies calls for a refill on pain meds. He never writes a prescription for more than 4 to 7 days if you are lucky to get. I suffered so much. The pain was soo bad I threw up. Oh, well he will never operate on me again or any family members. Beware. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing!!!!!!.
