Dr. Amir Manzoor, MD

This is one of the worst practices I have ever been to. They say you'll see Dr. Manzoor, but when you get there you see a nurse practitioner, Irina Mayberry. Staff is indifferent and often incompetent. Ms Mayberry has refused treatment because I won't go back every 6 months. Protocol is yearly for my case. I was successfully treated for thyroid cancer 25+ years ago, with no recurrence and only occasional need to change dose of medication. I have always complied with follow up as requested by an actual endocrinologist. I asked Ms Mayberry if I could go back in 9 months instead of 6. She said NO. I asked if I refused to go back so often, then what? She said, "Then you'll have to go somewhere else. You can ask your PCP if she would be ok with prescribing your medication". At one point, she even patted me on the shoulder and said "It's a bad diagnosis." NOPE. Not going back there."

Very helpful. Made me feel at ease. Explained everything to where I understood what he was doing.

first of all I got a call back on my referral ASAP..... couldnt be happier for I had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and dr Manzoor acted quickly with my health... He took the time to explain all questions I had at that time... his staff all have been pretty nice to me as well... I have no complaints and highly recommend him ... I also spent 3 days in hospital and he was like clockwork as when he showed up which has never happen ever before.. my appreciated

Dr. Manzoor is one of the only 1 of 2 doctors in Panama City who took my thyroid problems seriously. Giving him an excellent score since he really cares! Thanks DR!

Dr. Manzoor can only be described by me as life changing. I was in a point in my life were I doubted my longevity due to a thyroid disease. Dr. Manzoor's office got me in promptly due to the severity, and did so with respect for my concerns. Upon meeting with Dr. Manzoor, although very concerned, he treated me like family. His actions showed you that you are not just a number, to not give up, and he spend the time to cover all the information on my condition in detail. He assured me although he was concerned, he felt I had no need to feel my issue was going to be life threatening. In the end I had to have surgery, and still have issues with my condition, but it is not life threatening. Dr. Manzoor even since then has insisted I continue to live my life the fullest, and let him monitor my condition. I know his contact was life changing, cleared my mind, and continues with the repeated monitoring/visits.

Dr. Manzoor is an excellent doctor. He treats me for a Thyroid condition, and Osteoporosis as well. He is quite thorough, explains every detail, is courteous, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He spends a good amount of time with his patients, and is a caring professional who truly cares about his patients. His front office staff are friendly and efficient, and his nurses are friendly, knowledgeable, caring and efficient. A visit to this office is a pleasant experience, and you are usually seen by the nurses and Dr. Manzoor himself in a timely order. I recommend Dr. Manzoor whole-heartedly!!

I started seeing Dr. Manzoor because my original endocrinologist was not listening to my concerns. And I am very impressed with Dr. Manzoor. He switched my medication for me, explains everything to me, and is very kind and relaxed. I have been seeing his PA lately (I don't remember her name) but she is also great. She is very nice, and is willing to talk about my health with me in depth and also gives great weight loss advice. I highly recommend this doctor!

Wonderful, caring doctor. Best I have ever had. Listens. Cares. Relates with patients and knows that many times ones' lifestyle and stresses can effect health. His, PA, however, is all business. Simply asked questions about what meds I needed and told me what my numbers were, but never examined me like Dr. Manzoor did. She was in and out. Dr. Manzoor, however, is THE BEST!!!
