Dr. Amirhassan Hessam Bahreman, MD

I found this doctor to be very interpersonally…odd, very disinterested in my case, and far too confident about rare autoimmune diseases about which he knows nothing. He was texting someone when he walked into the exam room, rushed and gave me a half greeting as if he was surprised I was in the room and continued to text. He just said weird things such as “you think too much, if you think less you’ll feel better” and made a comment that all of my problems MUST be from my rare autoimmune disease. He also said I should stop looking for problems because I had already been diagnosed with a disease. I clarified that my specialist had sent me to him because he wanted his expert opinion, I didn’t just randomly go to his office for fun. He also started the visit by saying “so, what’s wrong with you?” which is about the least professional way I have ever had a doctor speak to me. His back was turned to me during most of the appointment while he typed. I can’t emphasize enough how strange I found… the whole interaction with him.to be unsettling. Additionally, his neuro exam was so brief that it wouldn’t have found anything because by that time he had decided I needed to think less and be better.

They lie about appointment times and fail to update patients information (phone number). Don’t waste your time or trust your health with this office.

Met this Dr. in the emergency room. He tried to sell me on some secret cure that only he had and the insurance company would not cover. (Real ambulance chaser personality) I spent months in agonizing nerve pain due to him, because I did not receive the proper medication in a timely manner.

I have been left with confusing information and wrong medication doses. The wait time for 3 out of 4 of my appointments was 45 minutes. We are seeking a second opinion for my diagnoses.

Knowledgeable and attentive, I would recommend him to friends and family

Meeting with this Doctor is a refreshing experience and I know that the treatments he provides have a curative effect. Was sad to discover that my insurance did not cover these procedures and that actual costs, although reasonable, were out of my reach. I would recommend visiting and consulting with Dr Bahreman if you have a degenerative nerve condition and have the financial resources to see his protocols through to the end of the treatment.; this is a commitment that will most likely end in an improvement in your condition if not a complete cure!
