Dr. Amit Kumar Rajvanshi, MD

This place looks and feels shady. They are sending me the bill even for the annual check up. Service is worst and the dr. is not organized. He kept me waiting for almost an hour even though i had booked the appointment. Nurses are rude and customer service is worst. One person hung up me for few times saying she cannot hear me. I had called from different numbers.

I had MedStar Family Choice of MD ''free insurance" while I was unemployed for 4 months. His practice billed me $15.00 for my Urinalysis sample. That fee isn't much which I can afford. However, after confirming numerous times with representatives at MedStar Family Choice, they stated I was covered during the duration seeing Dr. Rajvanshi for any "services" as long as I go to designated in-network providers with that insurance. Therefore, I want to voice my feedback to other's seeking a family PCP to avoid his practice and his office staff are "UNFRIENDLY" -no CUSTOMER SERVICE at ALL and no follow up action.

I give him 2 stars.

Dr. Raj is very caring and does not rush with you. He has helped me with my heath issues for years. His PA Maya is very good too, she is very caring and ask all the right questions, very helpful. His staff is very polite and professional. They make you feel very welcome and its like one big family. I highly recommend Dr. Raj and his practice.

Great Doc, and great office staff! I got there 15 minutes early, having already submitted my initial paperwork through the ZocDoc app (I also booked my appointment through ZocDoc), and I was seen right at the time of my appointment. This was my first time visiting this Doctor and everyone was very friendly. Dr. Raj was very professional and courteous to me when he was with me and was able to help me out quick and easy. I definitely recommend this office for people with anxiety at the Docs, because this was a breeze.

I always wait 60-90 minutes in his waiting room with a bunch of sick people. Once I waited 2 hrs. Then, once I am in, I get my vitals and wait for another 30 mins. Once I see him, I like him a lot. He is a good doctor and through and cares and remembers you. He researches what he does, and looks for alternative solutions.

I've been his patient for over 12 years. New and old patients must wait over 45 minutes to be attended. Recently, I discovered he misdiagnosed a disease I have, which out of desperation, I found out after visiting a different doctor for a second opinion. Rajvanshi recommended me to take ibuprofen and "relax" my stressful life, where in fact there were more severe problems affecting my health. Save yourself the trouble, save your health and go somewhere else.

Wait is for ever at office. The doctor will only give your medicine based on what you may think symptom is. Worst doctor in DC area.

Poor patient skills, long waits, very disorganized. Doctor writes Prescription by asking you questions than doing any diagnosis.
