I had a phone call with the Doctor not a video conference.

My son had an accidental gunshot wound to the aorta in two places. Dr Bafi operated on him and he miraculously survived. Our family is eternally grateful.

I had an aorta dissection while at work, was medevaced to Washington Heart Hospital where Dr. Bafi performed the surgery to repair my aorta. I don't know if I could have been in better hands. I did not see him after the surgery but once (st the hospital)a member of his team did visit. They do not explain much unless you ask but they were very good to answer any questions I had. My follow up visit was quick but I was doing so well, the doctor was pleased and ready to move on. He does not keep up with maintenance after surgery, he expects you to get another doctor to monitor your medication. Anytime we called his office with questions, they got back and answered expertly, very pleased with that. Thank you again Dr. Bafi, and your team.

I got an aortic valve replacement in 2007 and Dr. Bafi was my surgeon. He did a great job. I met with him prior to the surgery and we agreed on a valve type, etc. Great listener. Great follow up after the surgery. The whole thing was a great success, thanks to Dr. Bafi.
