William Yoon, MD, PhD

Dr. William Yoon is a vascular and cardiovascular surgeon who brings 15 years of clinical experience to his practice. He earned his MD and PhD degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and completed his residency training at St John Hospital & Medical Center. Dr. Yoon specializes in treating complex conditions affecting the blood vessels and circulatory system. He is fluent in English and serves patients throughout the Washington, D.C. area.

Dr. Yoon practices at multiple MedStar Health locations in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland, including MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. His expertise focuses on treating peripheral artery disease, which affects blood flow to the legs and arms. He also cares for patients with claudication, a condition that causes leg pain during walking, and manages abdominal aortic aneurysms.
