Dr. Amra Abeda Resic, MD

I do not recommend this physician under any circumstances. After more than eight years as her patient, I have found her to be consistently dismissive, inattentive, and completely lacking in genuine concern for her patients. Her focus appears to be on excessive billing rather than quality care, and her fees are unreasonably high compared to industry standards. It is extremely disappointing to see such disregard for patient well-being from someone in the medical profession.

Zero stars! This doctor does not care about her patients! She has no bedside manor. She’s in out of the room like your are taking up her time. The only thing she cares about is your money.

They are guilty of deceptive and fraudulent billing practices. Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practice statute clearly protects the consumer from "a doctor fails to fully disclose the price of the medical treatment or services to be rendered". I plainly requested a new patient visit and was quoted $114 for uninsured patient. They billed us $479 for services which were not requested nor performed. After 6 months of waiting on hold MANY hour and sending letters of dispute, they refuse to take responsibility. We are filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General for deceptive billing practices. Avoid this doctor, avoid Baycare, these people are not honest.

Agree with the other commenters that its very frustrating and difficult getting things done w the office staff/phone crew, especially if you are not face to face. Dr Resic herself is great.

I absolutely love Dr. Resic. She treats her patients like she wants to be treated as a patient. She and her office staff are so kind and caring and answer all your questions and never make you feel rushed or like you are bothering them. I cannot say enough positive things about her. It's been a long time since I have had a primary care doctor who really was a good fit. I definitely have found that in her.

This provider has no patient care etiquette! Refused to see me after I walked in 3 min. past my appt. time. I waited almost 3 weeks for this appt. and this is how I am treated! I do not recommend this provider nor will I got to any other provider at Baycare!

The Dr doesn’t know how to write a prescription. Staff when ever you can get a hold of them on the phone doesn’t know how to follow instructions. They say their going to do something for you and they don’t. I have to follow up on my requests several times to make sure it’s been done. Looking for another Dr as we speak

Serious concerns with this offices' manners. The staff is rude and incompetent. The blood lab request sent to Bay Care Labs was coded incorrectly and in such a way as my Medical Insurance would not pay. The Bay Care Blood Lab and I brought this problem to their attention, but they just defended their position that they were not going to fix the codes without a prior history of cholesterol or A1C problems. Even after they received records from another office proving a history, the incompetent rude staff still defended their position. Dr. Resic herself is personable but her staff is responsible for this negative review as to the ridiculous, nasty rude treatment I just received from them. They just talk over you, don't listen and then run away when you try to explain to them what their mistake was. I am surprised that Bay Care would allow this office to continue running as it is the most incompetently run facility I have ever encountered with Bay Care. I will be reporting this… facility to Bay Care and suggest the specific staffer that enters medical coding to be removed or at least learn how to converse with patients with some intelligence as it is lacking from this facility.

I have had many ailments that many doctors kept giving me medicines for. She was able to figure out that a lot of my symptoms were due to me being on so many medications.Turns out what I was on was causing side effects. After a majority of my medication were stopped, I was feeling so much better. It gave me the motivation to start exercising. Now my cardiologist is saying I only need to see him once a year. I am so grateful. If it wasn't for her thoroughness, I wouldn't be where I am today. I have sent all of my friends here and they agree. She's a lifesaver.

My husband and I saw Dr. Jenkins for years and we were very happy. Dr. Jenkins took a teaching position and so we moved over to her partner Dr. Amra Resic. What a mistake that was... we both were on medications for years doing well and the new doctor decides that she does not prescribe those medications, she decides that my husbands BP medication needs to be increased which makes him sick and so much more. What happened to communication - how can a doctor not even communicate that they will not refill a medication and your waiting and waiting and finally call and they tell you that the doctor does not fill those medications. Me the paying customer is not being talked to!!! Well Dr. Resic YOUR FIRED!! If more people would check out the doctors, interview them and hold them accountable, they may do a better job for the people. And you know if it was not for holistic medicine I would not be alive today! Stop pushing the pills and talk to those that are paying your bills!
