Dr. Amy Michelle Bono, MD

Dr. Bono is an excellent Dr. she takes the time to get to know you. she answers questions, addresses concerns. would highly recommend. she is also very direct which I like.

Dr Bono is rude with a poor bedside manner. She told me I was depressed when I asked for help getting to sleep and staying asleep. I have never been depressed. She prescribed an anti-depressant and and told me it was a sleeping pill. When I had a violent reaction to the pills, she told me I "needed to deal with it". When I checked out my files at the portal, I saw that she wrote I was depressed, had chronic back pain, and other issues I never had. I would be afraid to see her again and would certainly never recommend her to anyone.

My mother went to see dr Bono, and she told my mother she had a under active thyroid. So she prescribed her synthetic hormone pills. I’m a herbalist and know that if you feed the thyroid gland organic iodine then it can and will help the thyroid produce the right amount of t3 and t4 hormones. So we started her on organic sea moss and Bladderwrack which is very high in iodine and other organic minerals. Dr Bono wanted my mother to come back in 4 months and when she went back my mother explained to her what we have been doing instead of taking man mad pills she has been taking organic herbs that are high in iodine. Dr Bono got a attitude with my mother and wouldn’t even do blood test to see if what we have been using has been working. She only wanted one thing and that’s to continue my mother on man made drugs and could care less about my mothers actually health. Dr Bono could have at least performed another test to see what we where doing actually is working. But instead she acted like… a child because she is more worried about the dr visit that she can get out of my mother if she keeps her on man made drugs. She’s just a pill pusher like any other drug dealer on the street except she doesn’t go to jail. I do not recommend her to nobody.

Dr.Amy Bono provides stellar services, I've been a patient for over 8 years and she has always been open to alternative medicine as well as appropriate when antibiotics are needed. Her approach is open minded and she will err on the side of caution to ensure she provides the best for her patients. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a well-rounded physician.

I'm glad I found Dr. Bono. She's caring, asks great questions and seem to want to get to the bottom of your health issues.

Explain Diagnosis in detail and treatment

She belitted me and blew me off when I said I had a lump in my throat. Saw another Dr who found a tumor on my thyroid. Thank the Lord I didn't listen to her and got a 2nd opinion.

I was told on my first visit to Dr. Gordon that she did not know enough about my symptoms to diagnosis me, and refereed to a specialist. That specialist informed me that some of the test's ( brain scans)Dr. Gordon had ordered and reviewed, AND told me were negative, were ACTUALLY POSITIVE ! Positive for signs of a serious life altering medical condition. The specialist then sent me back to Dr. Gordon with a order for further testing. I was mortified when Dr. Gordon argued with me against the order, and informed me that I might be better served at a FREE CLINIC !!! At the end of the day her inexperience indeed had shown it's face, and it was not pleasant !!
