Dr. Amy Lynn Deleva, MD

We love her! She is open to alternative ideas, and is very compassionate and caring. I am shocked by the negative comments.

She was the on-call pediatrician when we went to the ER and she was unprofessional and unwilling to help assist us at all. I think she was very stand-offish and intimidated by a parent that knew more than she did about a condition and from that point, it was her way or no way. She knew nothing about the condition we were going to be admitted to the hospital for, she wanted to admit us onto a floor with infectious diseases and conditions when we were not contagious - and being around those germs could've done more harm than good for us, she lead us to believe inaccurate information about home health and their ability to assist us, she refused to utilize less invasive protocol for the condition that have been beneficial in the past, she denied us any alternative interventions that would have been of huge benefit, and then we found out she was dishonest in her billing, documenting that she had to come over to the hospital to visit with us, when in fact, she was already at the hospital… doing her rounds. Brought these concerns to the practice and they were very kind in addressing them. I only put this review on here in an effort to provide knowledge because it is important to parents. After reading the reviews on this page, I would have to agree with the negative reviews but am glad to hear that some families have had a good experience with her and hope that she is not the same doctor that we met, and has made some changes in how she deals with patients. I won't give my opinion of her on here, I will only state the facts. Had the practice not been so nice in addressing my concerns I would've reported her to the medical board.

Dr Deleva is such a sweetheart. She is non-threatening and gentle and understanding with children. She accurately discovered at hole in my daughters heart at age 4. Numerous other doctors had failed to notice the extremely slight murmur. My daughters cardiologist, was very impressed that Dr Deleva made the connection. (her hole was significant, but the signs were not) Since then, every visit with Dr Deleva is pleasant and we walk away knowing we are in good hands. She had called us personally at our home to check in on us when needed. She is fabulous!

Honestly, take your kids to a doctor that has a personality. . .would not recommend!

Dr Deleva was wonderful, she was thorough, friendly, and reassuring. Her assistant was extremely helpful as well.

Dr. DeLeva is a wonderful and caring physician! She spends a ton of time making sure that you feel comfortable and that she has done all she possibly can. Her bedside manner is the best!!! I highly recommend this doctor. Her staff is awesome!!!!

Go somewhere else she's dishonest and unwilling to provide decent care.
