Dr. Amy K Jaffey, MD

When I first went looking for a professional psychologist I was scared and extremely depressed. I was afraid to go places alone and felt I had no value. She welcomed me and listened to every word I had to say. I feel she saved my life. She has lead my way taking small steps at a time. A few bumps in the road but she was always there to help heal the wounds. If I had anxiety she helped by providing suggestions on how to feel better. She is kind and professional. She is a great listener. She is like a friend. It is wonderful to be able to have someone that is not in your family or an acquaintance this way you feel safe. You let the baggage go. When I have questions about my hormone changes and things that happen with age. She always advices or makes me feel at ease about things that just are part of life. I recommend Dr. Jaffey because she is compassionate and has sympathy too. If you mention something that hurt you she shows true empathy. She is always on time. My appointments… have always been fulfilled. During darker moments in my life and she would do a follow up call or appointment just to make sure I’m ok. Ever since I have seen Dr Jaffey I see the whole world different and I know there is always an answer and that things will be alright. Yes Every little thing is going to be alright. I saw Dr. Jaffey during a very rough period in my life, and I was lucky to find her after interviewing several therapists who were either just repeating what I said or giving silly advice that you could find on any Web site. Dr. Jaffey actually took the time to listen to me and say very insightful things that made me see my situation in a new way. I had also been dealing with some chronic physical problems. She made some suggestions to take to my physician, who asked "who is this" because he thought the ideas were great. Her suggestions have made my life more bearable, and I am eternally grateful. This lady is obviously brilliant but she's so kind and thoughtful. I really benefitted from seeing her. She probably doesn't know how much, so I'm trying to pay it forward here by letting other people know.
