Dr. Amy Marie Latta, MD

Dr. Latta continues to be my physician of choice in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She is professional, personable, empathetic, and objective which leads to each visit being enjoyable and productive. I highly recommend Dr. Latta and her staff at Bent Tree Family Physicians Frisco.

Dr. Latta didn't even have the balls to come out and face me herself. The nurse had claimed that a "woman" called and said that I tried to fill the prescription there and it looked tampered with. First of all, I didn't present that prescription to a woman; I presented to a man. If spilled coffee qualifies as "tampering" then so be it; however, it this nurse was referring to the man at Walgreen's pharmacy, why would he give the prescription back and then call to say that while I head over to another pharmacy to have it filled? If her story about someone calling and saying that was true, the only pharmacist you saw the damaged prescription was the male pharmacist at walgreens...why didn't he just pretend to have the medication in stock so he could hold on to the prescription to send over to the office himself? Also, regardless of her ridiculous story, if they both did what they are required to as a doctor and nurse, they would have my last appointment documented in my file, stating the… prescription given along with the date it was written for. I still sit here and don't understand their point because if I wanted to tamper with it for whatever benefit, then why would I bring it back to the doctor!? If a person does something wrong, do they go to the person and show them what they did? There accusations makes absolutely no sense at all! If a patient still has the prescription and no meds then what crime was committed? She took the prescription, refused to write another, accused me of tampering and told me I will have to just go a month with no medication. I've had it with this practice as well as their Dallas location. I do not advise you to wastes your time and money there. I was a self pay patient. Not because I don't have insurance, but because I actually thought this physician was worth my time! ABSOLUTELY NOT! Stay far, far away from theses idiots.

My family and I would absolutely recommend Bent Tree Family Physicians. The doctors there are the most thorough physicians we have ever met. Their approach to preventative health has proven to be life changing. The various test (i.e. extensive blood work, etc.), which allows an in depth look into areas that may have previously been a health concern, but never offered by other physicians, has proven to be priceless. My daughter was admitted in the hospital and through modern technology, Dr. Latta's office was notified. We received a phone call from one of the professional staff members of Dr. Latta's office the next day to see how she was feeling. The call was very refreshing and encouraging to say the least. We were also reminded to make certain we scheduled a follow-up appointment after discharge. We have never had an experience with doctors that are so compassionate, caring and kind. Their medical degrees go far beyond practicing medicine, they make us feel that we are… not simply a name on a chart in a pile of medical records, but a part of a medical family that is genuinely concerned about our over all well being.

Dr. Amy was my family's physician for over 8 years until we moved out of state. She was an amazing, caring and top-notch physician. She treats her patients with compassion and listens and advises very carefully. She was blessing to me and my family and is sorely missed. After 2 years of being away I still cannot find a doctor who comes even close to filling her shoes! DON'T hesitate to make an appointment...you'll be glad you did!

My wife and I have seen Dr. Latta for over 5 years. No doubt she is the best doctor we have ever seen. I would recommend for any of my friends or family members to be under her care. She is caring and concerned with our well being.
