Amy Moan, PA

Amy Moan is a certified physician assistant with Tampa General Medical Group. Equipped with more than two decades of experience in her field, she currently specializes in the treatment of patients undergoing colorectal surgery. Moan has served in a multitude of physician assistant roles with Tampa General and private practice settings as a provider in urology, along with liver, kidney, pancreas and transplant surgery and general/ hepatobiliary surgery.Moan has dedicated her career to teaching future generations of health care professionals. She's been an instructor and preceptor for South University's Physician Assistant Program since 2010 and was named TGH's Physician Assistant Preceptor of the Year in 2016.Moan received her Master of Clinical Medical Science with honors from Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla., and was a Dean's Scholarship recipient prior to beginning her physician assistant career with the University of South Florida Department of Surgery in 2002.
