Amy Ryan, MD

Dr. Amy Ryan is a pediatrician at Longwood Pediatrics affiliated with Boston Children’s Hospital and an instructor in pediatrics at Harvard Medical School who specializes in primary and preventive pediatric care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. After studying engineering at Brown University, she earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her internship, residency, and fellowship in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ryan joined Longwood Pediatrics in 1988 and has also worked in several specialty programs at Boston Children’s Hospital, including the Growth and Nutrition Clinic, the Pains and Incontinence Clinic, and the School Function Clinic. Known for her collaborative and compassionate approach to care, she emphasizes partnering with families to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of her patients throughout their development.
