Dr. Amy Sue Taneja, MD

I am almost 4 years post partum and still working with a therapist to process the trauma she inflicted on me during my encounters at the hospital with her while in her prenatal care. She verbally assaulted me - screamed at me when asking questions about the recommended course of care - and belittled me and was extremely condescending to me when asking questions about what she wanted to do to MY BODY. I really think this inhibited my labor and contributed to the poor outcomes that followed. I feel validated seeing other similar reviews about her, but saddened that these kinds of things are STILL happening to other humans. I wish she would consider why she's in this field and if she can't be mature and professional enough to recognize she that should stop practicing if she can't provide proper care, then the system should push her out for her lack of ethical care.

Gave me a unnecessary csection and caused me a lot of trauma. DO NOT let her deliver your baby.

This doctor was demoted by the practice she works out of because of her negligence. Consider another physician for the health and safety of you and your baby.

This doctor is incompetent and doesn't take responsibility for her actions, actions that will affect my daughter and our family for the rest of our lives. Find another physician and definitely another practice.

This doctor caused my daughter a lifetime injury because she was ill prepared and didn't know how to manage a delivery. Also, don't sign their office arbitration agreement. This is not standard practice. It can devastate families. There are better doctors out there that don't make you sign one.

I wish they made more physicians like her. If you have her in your corner, you are in great hands.

Actually been to see her for an increasing in duration and intensity problem and she has never once did an pelvic/gyn exam! Not once. Been there 3 times and she's out! Moving on. You can try it, but I'm old enough to know better so beware!

I started seeing Dr. Taneja last year after losing trust in my last gyno. She came highly recommended by a nurse at the hospital. She did not disappoint. From the first time we met her she was so nice and caring and took the time to listen and explain things to us. When we got pregnant she was amazing. Their office has a nurse that returns all medical related calls and she is amazing as well (Jessica). They helped us through so much and my pregnancy and birth experience was awesome. Everyone in both office is so nice and willing to help. Dr. Taneja is calm, but will tell you how it is (In an awesome way) and will look out for what is best for you and your baby if this is your case. Whenever I called the on call services and she was on, she was more than happy to talk with me and help me, she never seemed like I was bothering her (even if I really was). I live in Tampa, but make the drive to her because she is that worth it. You wont be disappointed.

Dr. Taneja and the rest of the doctor's at this practice are wonderful. We saw Amy the most however Dr. Long delivered our baby. The entire staff are extremely nice and went above and beyond. I would recommend this practice to family and friends.

She makes you feel very comfortable. Nice nice woman, very intelligent. Quite happy with her!
