Dr. Amy Todey, PhD

I participated in a court-related psychological evaluation with “Dr” Amy Todey expecting professionalism, neutrality, and objectivity. Instead, the experience was deeply biased in favor of my abusive ex-husband from the very beginning. Questions and concerns about the process were met with defensiveness rather than transparency, and any attempt to seek clarification was treated as a problem. Todey has a complete lack of trauma-informed care. Being told to “get over” abuse is not only dismissive, it is wildly inappropriate coming from a mental health professional involved in high-conflict divorce and custody matters. In addition to the bias, the process itself felt disorganized and unprofessional. Communication was inconsistent, details were mishandled, and the overall experience added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. I would strongly caution anyone against seeking mental health treatment from Todey especially given her violations of hipaa and phi - discussing… details of clients and their families with other patients present.

I would strongly caution anyone… seeking a truly neutral evaluator to thoroughly research their options and ask detailed questions before moving forward.
