Dr. Amy Lee Wallin, MD

Dr Amy is the best pediatrician we have seen. She is thorough and helped us navigate the waters with all my child’s needs. I cannot express how grateful I am that she makes my child feel safe and secure when she is taking care of him. She has such a kind heart and a wealth of knowledge. My son loves her and he loves going to the Dr! That says a lot.

My son has had moderate eating issues since birth. While Dr. Wallin is sympathetic at our visits, she has never correctly diagnosed his issues, has never discussed our possible options for treatments or other possible diagnoses, and has never followed up with us after the visit. Dr. Wallin even implied that she would follow up with us when discussing how "we" would resolve issues of returning to exclusive breastfeeding after needing to supplement with formula. That follow up never occurred. My son has continued to have digestive issues and has been either maintaining or losing weight at several point in his first 5 months of life. Dr. Wallin incorrectly diagnosed him and failed to have any backup plan. When asked, "what next?" we were assured it would not get that far. I have been extremely disappointed in the care my son has received. Being friendly at the appointment cannot overcome the failure to act in partnership with me to help me care for my child.
