Dr. Amy Winn Wrennick, MD

I have had many issues for years that Dr. Wrennick kept brushing off every symptom. Almost 4 years later I finally switched offices. My new doctor immediately did an ultrasound and uncovered uterine cysts. After having a laparoscopy done many of my symptoms were linked to stage 3 endometriosis. I wish I had done so sooner as we were trying to conceive for 18 months with no luck and now the chances are very low.

I feel that the dr provided good service. I've been going to her for years and was adamant to keep her when I lost my insurance and got pregnant. I got insurance through the marketplace and was unfamiliar with the situation so I called her office 1 week in advance to prevent any issues. I was told that I had to call back 24 hrs prior to my appointment. I work in healthcare and I thought this was odd. If you have insurance issues and want to make sure you're getting covered for a procedure/appointment, it's common courtesy to call ahead. For pt and office peace of mind. Anyways, the day before my appointment, the office called me up wanting my insurance information. They said that I had to call my insurance co and work on this before the end of the day. Obviously I was aggravated and when I expressed my concerns, it was repeatedly turned around and me and my accountability. I was told I should have handled it ahead of time, which is what I was trying to do in the first place. Obviously,… I became frustrated and was rudely told by the staff member to let her talk when she was cutting me off to begin with. To say the least, I took care of the insurance situation and it would not have been a frustrating situation if the office was a little bit more understanding and took the time to explain rather than blame the pt. Seriously contemplating on changing Drs just because of the horrendous office staff.

I am 5 months pregnant and had my first appt with Dr. Amy. She dismissed my concern of having an infection that can cause a miscarriage. The very next day I had to go back due to complications and sure enough I had the infection. This doctor was too lazy to check and sent me home with an infection that could cause my water to break!

Dr. Amy Wrennick was incredibly attentive to all my concerns. She was courteous and made sure to listen to all my questions and make eye contact ensuring me she was listening to me. She stopped a few times while in the middle of something to let me speak and answer my questions.
