Dr. Ana Maria Cilursu, MD

I started seeing Dr. Cilursu at the beginning of 2018. I’ll let you know now, she is one of the best doctors in the field of rheumatology. She is very thorough. Based off my experience with her she takes time to diagnose because she wants to make sure all the symptoms and indicators are there. Dr. Cilursu explains everything to you, and she has no problems answering questions. She is always free to email and message. Dr. Cilursu gets back fairly quickly (typically in less than 48 hrs). Having Cilursu is a pleasure.

Some things I gave less than 5 stars because they weren't applicable to my situation at this point. She spent ample time with me, did a full exam & was very knowledgeable. Very happy I found her & hopefully she will find answers nobody else has in years

You may have to sit and wait a bit to see her but that's because she really cares about each and every patient and takes whatever time is necessary. If and when YOU have to wait, know that you will get the same dedicated treatment. Any time waiting to see Dr. Cilursu is definitely worth it!

Dr Cilursu is very nice and knowlwdgable, but the wait time is terrible. At least 2 hours total. Making an appointment is difficult. I have had my appointment changed 3 times because she was not going to be in the office. But don't change your appointm ent because you will have to wait months to get in. Not readily available when an issue arises..the staff takes message but never get call back, so not sure if she does not get message or just doesn't call back.

The waiting time is really long but she is very caring and spends tiem with you.

Dr. C. has been great! Since my RA diagnosis - which another physician diagnosed as tennis elbow - Dr. C has been instrumental in helping me manage my condition. She is extremely knowledgable in RA and takes the time to help me understand and manage the disease. I have been with Dr. C for the past 13 years and have recommended her to many of my colleagues, family and friends.

She has taken over as residency director at Atlantic City medical center.She thinks she is gods gift to rheumatology. She knows next to nothing. She misdiagnosed me. I had to suffer as a result of her incompetence.

I was in pain and contacted this dr. She seem to not know who I was yet tried to give me advice about medication. I waited a long time yet she did not spend that much time with me. She used residents and would visited with me the last 10 mins or less. She does care a lot about her dogs which is great. I wished I was a dog when I was seeing her.
