Dr. Ana-Cristina Vasilescu, MD

Only met with this doctor for a few moments. She seemed okay, but her billing company is atrocious to deal with. There is no way to pay them directly and they keep billing me different amounts a year later even though the bill was paid. Ridiculous.

I just delivered my baby with Dr.Vasilescu. I am very happy I chose her as my OBGYN. She is well experienced and professional. She encourages you and explains things. I felt confident and comfortable with her. I enjoyed all my visits to the office. I have not seen anybody like Seti, doctor's mom. She runs the office. She has such a good heart, really cares for the patients and takes time to ease their appointment timings according to their flexibility. I don't think I can see such personal care and the right professional guidance anywhere else. I will highly recommend Dr.Vasilescu.

If you are seeking a kind hearted personable OB, this is NOT the doctor for you. My first pregnancy and delivery experience was unfortunately miserable because of her. She is cold very short and rude. Please think twice when looking for a doctor who you will be spending quite a bit of time with. They should be friendly during prenatal appointments and refer to you by your first name. They should be excited to be delivering your child! MONEY should not be the main focus when caring for and ultimately delivering your child. They should not be asking for payments mid way through your pregnancy even before your insurance catches up or even better, before you DELIVER! Personally I feel your OB should put you and your baby before anything else. What am awful experience! You will be just a number. When I decided to not return, the unprofessionalism of this doctor and her secretary mother, blew my mind.

Dr Vasilescu delivered 2 of my 3 healthy babies. My son (3rd child, now 2) was delivered by the only doctor available at Winchester hospital when I got there. Long story short: Dr Vasilescu was out of town the afternoon I went into labor. Her on-call doctor--just as cold and curt as Dr Vasilescu--didn't respond to my call (by that time it was Friday night). The On-call-doctor's on-call-doctor called me and asked about my medical history as I was going through contractions before he finally told me to go to the hospital. When I got there, he was not there, and they "found" an OB who just happened to be stopping by the hospital! NO ONE ever apologized for what happened that evening.With that said, I agree with some other comments said about Dr Vasilescu. She is curt and talks down to you when you ask a question she thinks I should already know the answer to. The receptionist is also her mother and is pushy and makes it difficult to talk to the doctor when you call in an emergency. … Also, when I was trying to schedule my induction, the receptionist was trying to push me for a certain date/time. I told her I wanted my husband there, but he had to work at that particular date/time -- SO SHE TOLD ME TO GET A CAB AND GO WITHOUT HIM!I was so naive and shouldn't have let someone treat me like that. Seven years and 3 children later, I'm going to a new OB/GYN.

Unless you are skinny and without issues, do not bother going to this doctor. She seems to take "issue" with weight and both her and her receptionist have no problem pointing this out. I gave her the benifit of the doubt at first, but am now switching since it is not worth my emotional state to continue. Find another doctor!

Dr.Vasilescu was recommended by my colleague. She delivered both my babies and I am extremely satisfied with the doctor. She listens very well and and answers my questions patiently and professionally. She is very knowledgable and best in her profession. I still go to her for all my Gynecology related needs. Her mother(who is at the reception) is very friendly and sweet. She is very pleasant and connects to patients very well. Overall my experience with this Dr and her office staff has been the one of the best I have ever seen.

I only have gone to her once, but she will be my Dr from now on. The office is clean, but feels a bit shabby. The receptionist is her Mom, which I think is pretty cool, however she seemed to be nervous and not very nice at first, but by the time she was taking my blood pressure, she seemed to have warmed up to me. Hardly any wait time at all, about 5-10 min. I found her to be a good listener. Felt very comfortable with her. She seemed to be able to answer all my questions.

Dr. Vasilescu has delivered all 3 of my children. I have been a patient for over 10 years, and have had excellent care. I truly enjoy talking to her mom when I call or have an appointment. She remembers you and makes you feel like you are a person and not just a number like many other medical practices!!

AWESOME doctor she delivered my first child . the lady at the front desk is EXTREMLY EXTREMLY rude , does not keep her comments to herself .
