Summary
Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:Growing up, I had several role models who were strong advocates for others, which impressed upon me a desire to do the same. My path eventually led me to behavioral health and working with individuals with developmental disabilities in 2005, and I continue to love being able to work with, and learn from, the individuals and families I meet.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:In my free time I love to be outside gardening, hiking, or just spending time with friends and family. When the weather isn't so great, I like to curl up with a good book or movie. I'm also a Penguins fan and currently into unicorns.
