Dr. Ana Garcia

Ana Garcia is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor, with 4.5 years of experience providing mental health services to adolescents and adults in individual, family, and/or group settings. Ana specializes in anxiety, depression, grief, stress, and trauma. She is dedicated to ensuring that each client is provided with a safe space to discuss, process, and move forward through their personal struggles. Ana completed her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology from the University of Houston - Downtown (2015), as well as her Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) from Lamar University (2019). Ana's personal experiences have encouraged her to be someone who can provide clients with guidance and support based on their own wants and needs, not the wants and needs of others. Ana provides services based mainly on the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) counseling approach.
