Dr. Ana R Tanase, MD

My son saw her when his doctor wasn’t available. He was sick and not his normal energetic self. He is a skinny kid, and all he eats does gain much fat. She decided to put it as mother needs to learn how to feed her child, rather than asking anything about genetics. And it is now on his permanent record. Don’t take your kids to this incompetent doctor.

I have to give a shoutout to the medical assistant because she is the best. She called several times when I had a problem with my son's prescriptions.

I brought my teenage daughter to her with a list of concerns which had not been addressed at our prior health center. I actually felt a little embarrassed when we first started talking because I was thinking in my head, "She is going to think I'm crazy and some sort of overly concerned mother!" but she didn't think that at all. She listened and gave my daughter a thorough exam. She asked my daughter several questions and established a really nice rapport with her. We left the initial visit with a plan, lab work and a follow up appointment. What I appreciated most was that she called me- SHE called me- not the medical assistant, when the labs came in and discussed them at length with me. She got us referred immediately to a cardiologist. The office provided me with copies of all the labs and her notes for our records. I didn't even have to ask. She also recommended some alternative medicine for a skin condition my daughter was struggling with- coconut oil with teatree oil- it… is working like a charm. We have had several visits since the initial one and my daughter is making steady progress to better health. I am so very thankful for Dr. Tanase and her attentive, practical, and comprehensive care of my daughter. I prayed for help because I felt like my daughter was not well and no one was noticing but Dr. Tanase did notice and took action. She's an answer to prayer for my daughter.

Recently moved from out of state and Dr. Tanase just so happened to be the first doctor that we found. She has WONDERFUL bedside manner, and makes my daughters feel comfortable. She is incredibly thorough and I could not rave about her enough. She seems to really care about her patients. If only she took adult patients too :)

Dr. Tanase is very impersonal which could be due in part to a language barrier and could have been overlooked and tolerated.... That is until she retracted my intact son's foreskin. Needless to say I will never be using this doctor again and will be filing a complaint.

If you need a very good doctor and a real friend for your kids, Dr Tanase is the person. She is friendly with my kids and very confident in medical decisions. My kids love her. I will recommend her to everybody .
