Dr. Anantha R Bhandari, MD

My children have been going to Dr.Bhandari's office a little of three years. Through out this time Dr.B, and his NP's have been great with the children. However the office staff is not always professional. In particular the office manager. At first I never knew that she was the office manager, and wouldn't have even thought that she was the office manager. Because she is always rude to patients, is always in a bad mood, or she comes off that way. She never called in my children's referrals. She would give me the referrals and tell me to contact the doctors myself. This has never happened at any other pediatrician that we've visited. She is not noncompliant when you ask for help. It was an extreme eye opener when I had to deal with her a month ago.Which resulted in us not taking our children back there. After expressing how unprofessional she was with me, her and a nurse tried to deny services to my son. All because I had made her mad. In the end my son did get an appointment with the… doctor. This made me feel very uneasy because had I not been educated enough to know that she was not allowed to do that, I would have not been able to get my child an appointment. Which makes me question...if she treated me this way, and tried to deny Dr.B's services, how many other patients has she done this to. My son had a referral from Dr.B about 2 years ago she still has not tried to get that done. She told me that I could do it myself. Totally unprofessional of an office management.
