Dr. Anatoliy M Yanovskiy, MD

During my time as a patient of Dr Yanovskiy, his behaviour was extremely unprofessional. I saw him for PTSD-related issues shortly after I was sexually assaulted and he told me that it was my own choices (my clothing, drinking together with men, going out on my own) that caused that event. Whenever I challenged him about that, he would berate my intelligence or make incredibly inappropriate sarcastic comments, and once, during a session with my family, he actually screamed at me when I insisted that my assault was not my own fault. This kind of victim-blaming NOT OK, nor is it ever ok for a doctor to subject their patients to verbal abuse.

I was admitted to Princeton House with severe anxiety/panic. Dr. Y not only got me stable on medication, he also ordered an EKG before changing medication & found that one of the medications I was prescribed by another psychiatrist was prolonging my QT interval. He was warm & engaging & I loved his sense of humor. I live over an hour away, and if Dr. Y had office hours outside of Princeton House, it would be well worth the drive.

Extremely unprofessional, did not include me in my care in the least.
