Unprofessional staff and unethical business practices! Unsurprisingly this dentist has received disciplinary and administrative actions from Florida’s department of health. Too bad I didn’t check ahead of time but now you know.

I'm so glad I did not continue my treatment at this office. Since I just went there for a "free" new patient consultation to get an additional opinion and make up my mind with how I want to proceed with my treatment. During the consultation I was advised by Dr. Ripa that a CT scan was needed and when I asked how much it would cost I was told just $50 and I agreed. At the same time I asked Dr. Ripa if he will be handling my treatment entirely and he told me that a different doctor from another office would actually be working with me. For me that was a RED FLAG because I didn't understand why am I being seen by one doctor for consultation but a completely different doctor would be handling me and what was the entire point of this consultation when I would be seeing a different doctor at this practice. When my consultation was finished, the receptionist charged me $250 instead of $50, another RED FLAG. When I asked for substantiation of the $250 charge, a price list showing costs, or a… policy the doctor told me that I should understand how expensive the CT scan machines are...whatever that means, why as a patient I should know or care how much their equipment costs. On top of that Dr. Ripa's office billed my dental insurance $126 for initial patient consultation that was advertised as "FREE" on their website resulting in a "FREE" visit costing $376 total. Thank you Dr. Ripa for teaching me a valuable and luckily cheap lesson of how to stay away from practices like yours.

Great customer service, has a beautiful welcoming office with the staffs. The Dentist very gentle and help you to maintain a healthy oral hygiene. I absolutely recommend Dr.Ripa to anyone who has bad experience with other dentist because he makes you feel comfortable. The assistant who helped me today was Aniuska, she was very gentle with taking my x-rays and made me feel relax .
